By Collecting points for reading each month, elementary students were able to bid on cows, sheep, horses and pigs to add to their collection of farm animals. Several times a year an odd and unusual auction was held amazing animals were available for sale. If you were lucky enough, you could be a proud owner of a dog, cat, or maybe a a highland cow. For the students that like the truly special animals you could also win a peacock, tiger or butterflies.
